About The Doodle Dame

I have always wanted to learn graphic design and digital drawing. About 5 years ago I bought my first graphics tablet - a little Wacom Intuos. My first digital artworks weren't all that great, but a friend who owned a fabric printing shop saw the potential. She had more faith in me than I did and I will forever be grateful for it.

 

I started with Inkscape and GIMP (both free) to design custom seamless patterns for fabric printing. Since then I have taught myself how to use Affinity Designer and Photo, Photoshop and Procreate (iPad only) and added logo design and realistics mockups to my portfolio. I even upgraded my little graphic tablet to a Huion Kamvas 12.

I am based in sunny South Africa so my local currency is Rand (ZAR). The payment portal is Yoco and currency will reflect as Rand on the link, however all major cards are accepted. To see the amount in your local currency, a converter is included on the website, but the Rand value will always be the reference.
